Google Maps now with Traffic Action
Google maps added a new traffic feature and rolled it out in Columbus, and like most of everything that Google does, it is awesome.

So there’s these gray lines that show up when you hit the traffic button. They turn green, yellow and red. I’m guessing the colors mean what they should and that you don’t wanna be on the freeway when it’s red. The only problem is that most of the time the largest majority of these lines stay gray and don’t change into any color.
However, I hope that products like Google Maps will educate the public to these new technologies and create more of a demand for this traffic feature. Then maybe there’ll be less gray and more color. As it is though, I’ve seen some of the gray turn into yellow and red during rush hour. So perhaps when it’s gray there’s just not much going on? Anyway, props to Google for their work. I’ll get back to all the other Google products I use now.
