So it’s been snowing like a mug recently. It’s been snowing since last night. It began with some snow and then it changed to frozen rain at about noon. It’s been going strong ever since. And then tonight it’s supposed to change from frozen rain back to snow because it’s going to get really freaking cold. So first there was snow, then that snow got a nice thick layer of ice on it and now it will once again be covered in snow. So it’s an ice sandwich with snow as the bread. Wow, sorry for that previous line, pretty bad.

So the good part about all this is that school was canceled for the first time in 4 years, and the third time in twenty years. According to NBC at least. But class was only canceled after 1:30, and I had a class at 11:30. So I was going to go to my early class, but then I checked my email. We’re only allowed to miss class twice in the quarter, but the professor sent us an email saying she would excuse everyone who was absent from class. So I didn’t risk it since it was pretty bad and just stayed in. Then, as I was getting dressed for my afternoon class, I saw on the news that tOSU canceled their class so I got to stay home all day, except for taking my mom to work and picking her up.

So now like a million schools are closed tomorrow and I am hoping that my classes are canceled tomorrow again. It’d be nice to sleep in a lil bit and recoup. So here’s hopin.
